Fanny's Decorating Tutorials - I transformed my toilet into a decorative cocoon!

Hello, I'm Fanny, I'm 24 years old and I've recently moved to Toulouse. I started using social media five years ago to share my daily life, my decor favorites, my lifestyle, a bit of fashion... and everything that inspires me every day.

What do I love most? Creating content that reflects who I am, sharing great tips, simple yet stylish ideas, and tricks for feeling good at home. I find peace every day through this passion—decorating, transforming, and enhancing spaces.

Today, I am delighted to take you with me on this new decorating adventure to revamp your toilet into a decorative cocoon.

At SunshineWall, we like every corner of the house to be an invitation to style—and Fanny, our talented decorator, has just proven it once again with a creation as bold as it is elegant. For this first episode of Fanny's Decorating Tutorials , we're heading to... the bathroom!

An often neglected space, tastefully enhanced

Fanny decided to revamp this often-forgotten space with one of our iconic wallpapers. Placed on two walls facing each other, this graphic design takes on its full dimension and structures the space with character. To further enhance the look, she had the brilliant idea of harmonizing the whole thing with vertical strips of wood—a simple yet incredibly effective trick for creating a warm and sophisticated ambiance.

Fanny's advice: dare to use wallpaper where you least expect it

“Small rooms are perfect for having fun with decor. You can dare to use bolder, more textured or patterned wallpaper, without fear of overloading it. And above all, don't forget the details! Here, the wooden slats give rhythm and relief to the wall, while reinforcing the overall coherence.”

Why I'm a fan of the result:

A wallpaper with a strong character, applied with precision

A two-wall staging for a successful depth effect

The combination of wood and pattern, subtle and full of charm

A neat atmosphere in an often forgotten room

I hope this first transformation inspires you! See you soon for more decorating ideas that are simple to recreate and full of style.
